From mankind's distant prehistory to today's modern hectic world, man has strived to come to terms with the unseen and unexplained that permeates daily life. The belief that the visible world is pervaded by invisible forces or spirits that affect the lives of the living and that they can be viewed or contacted by entering into alternative states of consciousness is the basis for most religion and spirituality around the world.

In many of these, man has used "Anthropomorphic" beings to depict these forces or spirits. Known by many different names, "Katsina" to the Hopi, "Wandjinas" to the Austrialian aboriginals, "Angels" to Judeo-Christians etc. We use the name "Yei" from the Navajo.

We are currently accepting exclusive commissions for large work, subject to time allowances. Please contact us to discuss the creation of your unique personal "Yei".
